STRESS
Terri was born as the direct result of the favor owed to the Leanansidhe by Ted Forrester. She was raised by Lea (who has taken a fondness to that name for some strange reason) in the Nevernever learning to see the Winter Court as the immune system of the mortal realm. She took the name Foster as a reference to old folk tales about the fae and lost children.

She spent each summer with the Forresters ‘for the weekend’ as Lea put it, learning of the ‘real world’. Her relationship with Lea is much like that of a favored pet and Lea often refers to Terri as ‘My Best Hound’. She has always gotten along well with Ted but originally her relationship with Michelle was strained to say the least and only recently could they have been considered friendly.
Between Unseelie Magic and the Forrester’s ‘flexible ethics’, Terri became incredibly adept at finding out whatever it was that you least wanted her to know. This became a great game to the fae but has led to many arguments with mortals and is the basis for what is perceived as Terri’s antisocial demeanor. She is on good terms with Dragonfly to the point of being friends … or as close as fae come to that. This has led to many a defense attorney’s attempt to bribe or blackmail Terri, all of which has resulted in WINTER thanking them for their donations.

While on an errand for Lea, Terri took an internship at the District Attorney’s office and was later asked to stay on as an investigator. She enjoyed this and saw it as a mortal equivalent to her tasks for the Winter Court. Between the legal and fae courts, Terri has more than likely come in contact with a third of the city. She admires ADA Mike Cutter….

ABOUT ME…
Bio:
My Backstory

After a grueling battle with Rameses & Nefertiti, Terri and the Paranoia Patrol emerged victorious but bloodied. Terri was permanently wounded in the right thigh/hip & her Faith In Winter was irrevocably shaken. She decided that once her debt was paid off she was done. She retired from the District Attorney’s office for medical reasons and redoubled her efforts to clear the slate. She came to the attentions of The Mothers & a few of the more notable Wyld Faeries during this time. While her body may have been broken, her will only grew stronger. She formally resigned (one does NOT ‘quit’ to Queen Mab) citing her injuries and the fear of failing in her duties. When someone asked if she expected to take a place at COURT Terri said she could not in good conscience and was summarily stripped of her powers. She retained the artistic inspiration side effect (?) from Calliope. Her ability to see other’s memories expanded to sometimes also work on objects. In the time since, Terri has become quite an accomplished artist and spends most of her day sketching in Central Park for enjoyment. The NYPD occasionally calls her as a sketch artist but Terri has so far avoided all contact with the District Attorney’s office. She left her apartment (with a pre-paid grocery delivery contract) to Drucillia and purchased a certain warehouse next to the naval yard and converted it into a studio, a gallery and home. She is in process of remodeling the warehouse’s original office into an apartment for Blind Man Bob & his new dog ‘Fluffy’ so that they can “keep a handle on things for her” when she is away.

BACKGROUND

During the course of her many assignments, Terri has met many of the more “less than friendly” personages in and around NYC and managed to if not make them exactly friends then at least make them non-opponents. She has also managed to turn some potential allies into frenemies with very little effort. She considers Robert Howe & Saundra Smythe to be friendly business associates at worst where others only see them as vicious blood thirsty monsters. The missing & not-likely-to-ever-be-seen-again Mr. Kolchek on the other hand was an enormous thorn in Terri’s calm to put it VERY mildly. She has had some difficulty at times separating the animosity toward the ‘original’ from her friendship with the current copy/clone/whatever but she is making the effort. The current Karl Kolchek (whom she has nicknamed ‘Chuck’) has proven to be quite helpful, assisting in the arrangement of her purchase of The Brown Forest and putting her in touch with the 21st Street Mission.

RISING CONFLICT

THE STORY: IT’S ALWAYS AUTUMN IN CENTRAL PARK
GUEST STARRING: Douglas Ridgway & Khan Noonien Singh

It seems like Terri’s life is destined to be forever caught between SUMMER and WINTER. Between her girlfriend Dragonfly being claimed by the SUMMER Court and Drucillia caught between her allegiance to WINTER and her continued devotion to The Celery Queen, FATE seems to be determined to keep Terri in the middle. Terri is just trying to relax in “her office” in Central Park near where Aspen’s Tree is, just sketching people as they walk by when Lady Annona “just happens” to come up to her with Karl Kolchek (aka Chuck) and Izzy arm in arm. It seems Izzy has caught a case of “someone” causing problems at Central Park Zoo. Kolchek was able to dig up that this “someone” was trying to wrest sway of the zoo from SUMMER. Since Terri has personal knowledge of SUMMER (and spends almost every day at the park) Lady Annona “suggested” that they seek her assistance. Unbeknownst to them, Khan Noonien Singh had Kolchek under observation hoping to be led to more of the supernatural. Recalling that Douglas Ridgway had a contact “Jordi” in the Zoo, Terri called & asked him to meet them there. It turned out Lady Lyla was trying to usurp control of the Zoo from SUMMER. Before things could get more out of hand (and endanger the mortals’ ignorance), Noonien stepped in to negotiate a “fair and equitable” compromise.
