Shadows Over New York Season Three Opening Credits
New York is the most populous city in the United States and one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the world. New York exerts a significant impact upon global commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment. The home of the United Nations Headquarters, New York is an important center for international affairs and is widely deemed the cultural capital of the world. The city is also referred to as New York City or the City of New York to distinguish it from the state of New York, of which it is a part.
That is New York, on the surface. The New York City that Mortals see. To others though, New York is MUCH more. Vampires of all types live amongst the teeming millions.
Fae (Winter, Summer, and Wylde) play, love, and fight within
The Big Apple. Here can be found the last practitioners of Merlinian Magic, members of the White Council, Technomancers, and The Protectors of Ma’At from The House of Life. Beings from throughout the Nevernever and beyond, find themselves in New York, and walk amongst it’s populace unnoticed, taken to be human by the mortals around them. Scions of the Olympian Gods wander its streets beneath Olympus’ shadow, while the Watcher’s Council oversees the Slayers, Grimms, and Immortals dwelling within New York’s boundaries. Elves of the Cintra, scout New York’s streets, while Servants of The Word vie with the demons of The Void. Ancient Amerind spells vie with European magics, and ley lines of varying strengths (both white and dark) crisscross the island. And rumor speaks of a Federal Agency monitoring and investigating the Supernatural in secret.
And lurking just south and west of New York, is New Jersey, and the mysteries of Atlantic City, the Meadowlands, and the Jersey Pinelands.
First and foremost to my players, without whom there would be no Game. You continue to inspire and cause endless hours of enjoyment and memories.
